Stories of Change
Across South Africa, people are changing habits, taking ownership of their communities and inspiring others to do the same. Explore the stories behind a growing movement for a cleaner South Africa.
Our Theory of Change
Lasting change doesn't happen overnight. It happens when people move from awareness to action, from action to ownership, and from ownership to a culture where caring for public spaces becomes the norm.
Changing Mindsets
We help people understand that littering isn't just a waste problem — it's a behaviour problem. Education and awareness are the first steps towards lasting change.
Active Citizens
People begin taking responsibility by reporting illegal dumping, joining clean-ups, volunteering and encouraging others to get involved.
Shared Responsibility
As more people participate, communities begin caring for their own streets, parks and public spaces. Responsibility becomes shared instead of expected from someone else.
Responsibility Becomes Normal
When enough people change their habits, behaviour becomes culture. Clean, safe public spaces become something communities protect together.
Real change begins with people — and grows through communities.
